Video of the Week: Winter Wonderland at the End of the World

Over here in Israel, summer is coming to life. People wear short sleeves, go to the beach….. and melt.

OK, so they don’t melt per say, but central Israel is known to be very humid and hot. At this time last year, I was drooling over photos of glaciers and snow in Argentina, and this year I am drooling over videos I took myself.

Here’s a bit of Winter Wonderland from the southern most city in the world – also known as the End of the World, the Beginning of Everything – Ushuaia!

Ushuaia is such a wonderful place for winter lovers. You can ski, you can drive a ski motorbike even without a driver’s license, you can go on dog sledges…. You can also choose to simply stare at the many mountains filled with snow from pretty much anywhere in town.

Are you drooling too or is it just me?

  1. I’ve never been to Argentina. Ordinarily I don’t like freezing cold weather, but then again I’ve never visited anywhere that looks quite like this. 🙂

    • I’m told that if you dress real warm and you spend enough time there, you get used to the cold…. I had 5 (!) layers on and could have stayed there for a long time 🙂
