A Spring-Filled Photo Essay from Netanya, Israel – Part 2

Travel has definitely changed me. I now see beauty EVERYWHERE.

I mean, EVERYWHERE.

In daily-traveled streets, in entrances to simple buildings, on a bus ride…. you name it.

To celebrate the growing joy of everyday life, here some more photos from my hometown, Netanya. Yes, the one with the electricity cabinets art. This is part two of my spring photo essay, for a bit of extra indulgence before I let the heat of summer take over me.

If you find a glacier, send it my way.

What’s the beauty of your everyday?

  1. Beautiful pictures! And we’ve got plenty of glaciers around here. I’ll send one in your direction immediately (although it might take a while to get there).

    • Thanks! And I really appreciate you sending me a glacier, Steve! I do have a birthday in June….

  2. There are some beautiful purple flowers in these photos – my favorite color. And Netanya was the very first place I visited the very first time I came to Israel! It may seem like a strange choice, but for some reason I wasn’t interested in Tel Aviv, and I wanted my first day here to be at a beach. I sure chose the right place. Netanya has a beautiful beach. Have you ever been to the beach there?

    • It is indeed a strange choice, I love it! I’m actually planning a post about Netanya’s beach, or rather one of the promenades facing the beach. If you get a chance, though, see if you can make it to Michmoret beach while you’re in Israel. It’s close to Netanya. I haven’t been to Michmoret since I was a kid, yet it’s on my to-see list for the near future, because my brother brought beautiful photos from there.
